Editorial policy

Sourcing

Every factual claim links to a primary source where one exists (company announcements, regulatory filings, earnings materials) or to reputable reporting. Each article lists its sources at the end.

Status labels

We label robots by verified evidence: Prototype (demonstrated only), Announced (officially presented, not yet on sale), Pre-order (reservations open, no verified deliveries), Pilot deployments (working at named customer sites), In production (production-standard units leaving a line), Available (on sale to customers) and Delayed (a promised launch date was missed).

Images

Robot illustrations are original artwork drawn from each robot's published specs, not photographs. Photos are used only under a licence that allows it (CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA or public domain) or with the rights holder's permission, and each one is credited with its author, licence and source. Videos are embedded from the maker's own official YouTube channel with YouTube's player; we never re-upload them. See our legal page for details.

Who edits this site

HumanoidVS is edited by Shaks, who reviews and approves everything before it is published.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to monitor sources, organise research and prepare drafts. A human editor reviews, edits and approves every article before it is published, and is responsible for its accuracy.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it, update the "Verified" or "Updated" date, and note the correction in the article. Manufacturers and readers can request a correction at any time: email support@humanoidvs.com. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Commercial content

Sponsored placements are labelled, and paid links carry rel="sponsored". Sponsors never influence our status labels or analysis. See partnerships.
